Product description

Type R13207..00 is equipped with two flanges with different diameters. This type is specially designed for mounting in sheet metal shields up to a maximum thickness of 2 mm, ensuring the secure fit of the plastic plain bearings in the bearing plates.

Compensation gap

The flange is provided with a compensating gap “A” in the longitudinal direction. This almost compensates for dimensional deviations that occur as a result of moisture absorption or temperature changes, saves lubricant in lubricated bearings, and contributes to its distribution in the bearing.

From the following diagram, the specific bearing pressures p in N/cm2 can be read for the peripheral speeds depending on the permissible p ∙ v value. For static loading capacity, a specific bearing pressure of p = 1400 N/cm2 is selected.

	The axial load which can be absorbed by the collar must not exceed 25 % of the radial load capacity; for this, shaft collar diameter must correspond to dimension "D" (see dimensions).
	The specified values are valid for a bearing temperature ≤ 80 °C and an ambient temperature of 20 °C.

Mounting

▶ When mounting this type, be sure that the large flange comes to the side upon which the occurring axial forces are applied. The compensating gap “A” allows the plastic plain bearings to be compressed until the small flange can be easily rotated through the receiving bore in the bearing plate. For this, not that the gap points upwards during assembly and the left end is inserted first into the receiving bore. With a clockwise rotation, the plastic plain bearing pulls itself into the bore. If the assembly has been done properly, plastic plain bearings spring up again and are seated properly.
